SWNT ropes with SWCNT probe
AFM phase contrast image of SWCNT bundles taken with a SWCNT probe. Phase contrast imaging resolves attractive and repulsive forces between the nanotube probe and the nanotubes under test. Individual nanotubes in the bundle are barely visible as the AFM resolution is at the nanotube diameter.
